After months of sending daily romance stories directly to inboxes, I’ve decided to make a small change to how things will work moving forward.
Don’t panic. The fictional men are not being taken away from you…. The stories are staying.
But instead of receiving them automatically by email every day, the daily short romances will now live directly on the blog.
And honestly? This change happened for a few reasons.
First, inboxes are exhausted. Mine included. Most people are already waking up to newsletters, promotions, reminders, algorithms begging for attention, seventeen “quick questions” from companies they do not remember subscribing to, and at least one email that somehow feels passive aggressive before 8 a.m.
Daily emails started feeling less intimate and more… crowded. When I started writing these stories, there were few of us and we always had emails going back and forth gossiping about the men I wrote about… but now….
And the truth is, I never wanted the romance stories to become background noise people skim while deleting coupons for protein powder and suspiciously urgent sales ending in “FINAL HOURS!!!” for the seventh consecutive day.
I want them to feel special again.
Intentional.
Like a small escape you choose instead of another notification demanding emotional labor from your nervous system.
There’s also another reason.
I want to make more room for deeper, richer content throughout the week instead of putting all the focus on short daily fiction alone. Over time, I realized many readers were connecting not only with the stories themselves, but with the conversations around romance, psychology, characters, writing, grief, tropes, publishing, and the emotional chaos fictional people somehow create inside our brains.
So beginning now, the blog will follow a new weekly rhythm.
Basically, the blog is becoming less like a mailing list and more like a full romance reader world. A place to visit. A place to linger.
A place where readers and writers can connect over stories, emotions, aesthetics, publishing, and fictional men setting impossibly high standards for real-world communication.
Now, for those of you who genuinely loved receiving the daily romance stories directly by email, don’t worry. I know some readers looked forward to them as part of their morning routine, and honestly that means more to me than you probably realize.
So if you still want the stories sent directly to you personally, you absolutely can contact me at SoniaMRompoti@gmail.com and I’ll make arrangements for that separately.
The stories themselves are not disappearing. They’re simply evolving into something that feels more intentional, more sustainable, and honestly more exciting creatively too.
Because I never wanted this space to feel automated. I wanted it to feel alive.
And I think this new structure gives us room for more connection, more conversation, more personality, and more emotional depth than before.
Which, ironically, is what romance has always been about anyway.
Connection.
So whether you’re here for emotionally intelligent heroes, witchy romance, curvy heroines, trope discussions, cozy darkness, grief-filled longing, publishing honesty, or simply to stare at fictional mood boards while pretending your life is emotionally stable, welcome.
The next chapter of this blog starts now.
And honestly? I think it’s going to be much better than before.
