The one luxury I can’t live without?

Silence and space to think.
As a writer, a therapist, and a solo mother, my mind is both my sanctuary and my livelihood. That small window of peace—whether it’s a quiet morning with coffee before my daughter wakes, or the hush that settles over the house after bedtime—is where I regroup, breathe, and create.

If we’re talking material luxuries, then it’s probably a good notebook or a reliable laptop—wherever my thoughts go to find order. Without that, my stories unravel, my focus slips, and everything feels just a little too loud.
