Daily writing prompt
What things give you energy?

Hello lovely readers!

I know, I’ve been away for quite some time, and I can’t thank you enough for sticking with me. Life has been beyond hectic, with exciting projects popping up from all over the globe. From writing collaborations to managing various other commitments, the whirlwind of work has been incredible but exhausting. Yet here I am, back and ready to reconnect!

Over the past few months, I’ve taken on so many incredible writing projects – from content on psychology and self-help to deep dives into the world of industrial buying guides (yes, believe it or not, that’s just as fascinating!). But, throughout it all, something has been brewing at the back of my mind, something I’ve been itching to do – writing a book.

Now, before I dive headfirst into it, I want to ask you, my dear readers, what kind of book would you like to see from me? I’ve been reflecting on the stories and messages I’ve shared here, and I feel like I could offer so much more in book form. However, the possibilities are endless, and this time, I want your opinion to guide my next steps.

What’s on My Mind?

Let me take you behind the scenes of my brainstorming process. Here are a few ideas I’ve been toying with:

1. Historical Regency Romance

If you’ve followed my recent work, you know I’ve been neck-deep in Regency-era ghostwriting projects, and let me tell you, the allure of this period is irresistible! The Regency era offers the perfect backdrop for a tale of love, mystery, and unspoken tension. Imagine a strong-willed heroine and a brooding gentleman, set against a world of strict societal norms, secretive affairs, and courtship games. Think of Jane Austen with a dash of intrigue – where every stolen glance means something and every ballroom encounter could be life-changing.

Does this kind of historical romance appeal to you?

2. Historical Cowboy Romance

On the other hand, I’ve also been considering a shift across the ocean to the rugged and wild American West. Picture this: a cowboy with a haunted past, a brave and independent woman running from her own secrets, and a vast, untamed landscape where love blooms in the face of danger. I’m thinking heart-stopping adventures, stolen moments under the stars, and the undeniable chemistry between two people trying to carve out their own path in the world.

Are you ready for a love story set against the backdrop of the Old West?

3. Dark Fantasy Spicy Romance

Perhaps you’re in the mood for something a bit darker and spicier. What if I took you into a world of magic, danger, and forbidden desires? In this book, there would be kingdoms on the brink of war, brooding antiheroes, and a love so intense that it threatens to consume everything. Think of a romance set in a world where nothing is as it seems, where powerful forces threaten to pull the lovers apart, and where danger lurks at every turn. This story would have intense romance, steamy encounters, and complex characters struggling between love, power, and duty.

Does a dark, fantastical world filled with passion sound like your kind of escape?

4. Dark Academia Romance

For those of you who love a touch of mystery, intellect, and forbidden romance, how about a dark academia novel? Set in the shadowy halls of an elite university, this story would explore the tension between two intellectuals who are drawn together by their shared love of knowledge, but torn apart by secrets, competition, and the weight of their pasts. Imagine a tale of love, ambition, and betrayal set against a backdrop of dark libraries, ancient traditions, and the intoxicating allure of the forbidden.

Are you intrigued by a romance set in the enigmatic world of dark academia?

5. Children’s Books

This one is close to my heart, especially with my own daughter being a constant source of inspiration. I’ve written children’s books before, and the joy they bring is priceless. I could craft a series of fun, engaging, and educational tales that help children navigate their emotions, learn new things, and grow into kind and confident little humans…. or maybe I’ll do this anyway teeheehee.

Would a series of heartfelt children’s stories be something you or your family would enjoy as well?

So, Where Do We Go from Here?

Here’s the thing: I could spend hours outlining the perfect book, but I want this to be a conversation with you. I value your thoughts, your preferences, and your support – which is why I’m opening the floor to you. What do you want to see next?

Maybe it’s one of the ideas I’ve mentioned. Maybe it’s something completely different. Either way, I want to hear from you.

How Can You Get Involved?
